“My artistic practice is often concerned with the relationship between subject and object in the digital age, basically what we can learn about society from material culture.” -Anna Ehrenstein (part of quicklyasked interview with Anna Ehrenstein by OFFICE IMPART)

In her artistic work, Anna Ehrenstein is particularly interested in the relationship between „man“ and „object“ in the digital age: How do values change? Who has influence? What role do selfies play? Having grown up between Albania and Germany, realities and reflections around migration-related material culture and diasporic narratives run like a thread through her work. Ehrenstein therefore often engages with the intersection of technology and migration. Whether lens- based media, installations, social moments, sculptures, prints, or writings, Ehrenstein's artistic practice is diverse and, above all, transdisciplinary.
