Yehwan Song *1995 is a Korean-born, New York–based web artist working across websites, installations, sculptures, and performance. Her practice examines how the internet has evolved from a tool into an environment, redefining the user as both consumer and data provider. By departing from standardized interfaces and conventional ideas of user-friendliness, Song reveals the cultural and political assumptions embedded in digital systems. Her works introduce friction, delay, and ambiguity to make visible what seamless design tends to conceal.
