Decentralized Network Weaving I, 2025
Lan cabel, silicon
80 x 60 cm
5.800,00 EUR
(incl. VAT)
Network Weaving, a series of works made from silicone and woven LAN cables pointing towards an alternative understanding of networked technologies and their emancipatory potential. They reference philosophical and cosmological notions of structures of weaving as symbolizing inter-species, inter-generational, planetary patterns of connection, but also the practice of weaving as a central thread through the history of programming and computation, as the Jacquard Loom, but also as pre-automation crafts, long before computer science. Weaving as programming, here, gestures towards collective, networked, and rhizomatic structures of interdependency.

In her most recent micro poetic film, Ana María Caballero pays homage to Pipilotti Rist’s Ever Is Over All and proposes a progression in the pursuit of feminist empowerment. Whereas Rist’s protagonist symbolically takes down failed systems, Caballero’s main character practices radical repair. Pace posits that private joy is as powerful a form of resistance as destruction.

Chatriot's artistic oeuvre ventures far beyond the confines of the digital realm. Her art soars beyond mere technological boundaries. Rather, her creative endeavors manifest as deeply physical and visceral, traversing beyond codes or a physical medium to bridge the chasm between the human form and the machine. Chatriot ruptures hackneyed stereotypes of technological iciness, shattering all barriers to engender an unbreakable kinship between humanity and machinery, creating a blood bond that transcends all.

Animal Pack Deluxe is the name of a series of sculptures that explore the tools used to
produce video games, the game development software Unity and its asset store. The store
enables users to buy and sell assets to use in their games. The most common assets sold are
prefabs, game objects used in multiple places across a given game. Usually simple objects
with low polygon counts, the use of prefabs makes the creation of games easier; a
contemporary coping mechanism harnessed to accelerate the production process of virtual
experiences.

A Jonas Lund Token (JLT) Future, 2024 is a forward contract that enables you to bet on the future value of Jonas Lund's artworks and the Jonas Lund Token (JLT) itself.
Each Jonas Lund Token (JLT) Future is intrinsically tied to a specific Jonas Lund artwork that will be made shortly before the contract expires. You're making a bet on the prospective appreciation in value of both the artwork and the Jonas Lund Token (JLT), from the time of acquiring the JLT Future to the time the contract expires.
On the Future Contract expiry date, the Jonas Lund Token (JLT) Future artwork transforms into a physical Jonas Lund artwork. The artwork's quality and value is then appraised by the Jonas Lund Token (JLT) board. If the quality surpasses the standard criteria, you may be required to pay an additional amount on top of the original Token purchase value. Likewise, lower-quality artworks may result in a discount from your original contract cost.
