Through her paintings, she enriches the callous promise of luxury with the pull of bizarre attraction. On her canvases, breasts float on white foam caps, grow into crests, become mountains, drip. Drops water, what the stem is to a flower, the blossom is to a rooster. Cocks in foliage, like an investigator in a trench coat, collar turned up.
Beautiful images. It's fair to say so. After all, color coordination and compositions are not chosen at random. The delicate first impression of her pastel painting might even play into Bednarsky's cards. She offers the beautiful, the familiar. Then she leans back and waits for her works to be recognized, even in their deceptive quality.
